Most websites today are html because they tend to be less expensive without many of the features that a php or asp.net website will have but if it is designed well it can have the look that makes it just as attractive as the others, just without all of the features available with the other development capabilities.

With a HTML website you still can have:

• Shopping carts (Paypal or Mals Ecommerce)
• and much much more.

Many html websites will combine both php and html if needed, such as:

• Customer Login and back admin area
